Great chips, drinks, and service! and always stays the same - my wife graduated from Mississippi State University back in 1999 and used to go here, all the time while in school at MSU. And, she says everything is as great and comfortable as it was back in 1999, and still looks just about exactly the same! If it works don't change it, is a great motto, and Oby's certainly works! This was a very emotional Saturday for our family, and we had a terrific late lunch at Oby's and are very happy our entire family of six stopped to eat and visit at Starkville's Oby's. Those seasoned chips are just too good to be true, but they are true and always available at Oby's in Starkville! Always great experience!

Always a delicious meal. Wish there wasn’t always a line but it’s there for a reason! The bread is awesome and the food is always hot and fresh. The beans were also a nice side with good flavor and not too sweet. Catfish was yummy and I have no complaints.

Oby... Oh Boy! Grand, fun, down to earth atmosphere; friendly and attentive; food cooked just right and to please. Their salsa was excellent and loved their gumbo! Everything tried was a delight and treat. A long standing retreat for the community, it is worth the visit!

The food is great...the service wasn't that friendly. Made me feel a little uncomfortable. But the salad was really good

Great Experience. This was my wife and I first visit at this Restaurant. My wife who has Celiac and can only have gluten free food was searching for a place to stop and eat. She came across this restaurant in Starkville and it listed gluten-free options. We call and spoke with Andrew and told him about my wife’s condition and he immediately said no problem. When we arrived the staff were totally amazing. They listen to my wife’s needs and they prepared her food perfect. She had the whole catfish platter and it was the best tasting we have ever had at any restaurant. I too had the same platter with the baked beans. Their atmosphere and there staff were beyond great. The food was incredible. To anyone I say to them’ you must try this Restaurant. I give it 1000 stars. We travel 100 miles one way and it was well worth it. We will eat here from now on. Thank you Andrew for really caring about your customers.

Great lil spot. Great variety of sandwiches and lil Cajun dishes. Wife had around the world sandwich (which she absolutely enjoyed) and I sampled the red beans n rice and jambalaya. Both were very good. Staff was kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back our next time in Starkville.

Found another great place in Starkville. Food was great, service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is very pleasing. I ordered the smoke sausage po boy and my wife ordered the catfish. She said some of the best catfish she had ever had. The smoke sausage po boy was very good with lots of flavor. Highly recommend!!

A nice nostalgic place ( several old signs) to get a variety of food. We had a crawfish poor boy with fries; which had quite a bit of fried crawfish and the fries had a tasty seasoning. Husband had a veggie wrap with potato salad, which he was waving about. Our granddaughter had chicken tenders with fries. The tenders were big and had a panko type of breading. We tried their pecan pie with praline sauce and a scoop of ice cream. The service was excellent even when we went up to the counter to get refills.
